Upgrading Consumer Units (Fuse Boxes)

Upgrading your consumer unit can significantly increase the electrical safety of your property as well as increase the value if you are looking at selling your property. All consumer units upgrades come with all the relevant documentation and certification to prove your electrical installation meets current electrical wiring regulations BS7671.

OUTDOOR ELECTRICS

are a convenient alternative to trailing long cables from the house, enabing safe usage of various appliances as and when required. Available in various types, styles and IP ratings, weatherproof switches and sockets are a great way to enhance any outdoor space.

TESTING AND INSPECTION (EICR)

Homeowners–BS7671 (18thEdition Wiring Regulations) recommend having an EICR carried out at least every 10 years. It is also important to have one done if you are moving out or into a new home, if your insurance requires one – or if you suspect your current electrics are old, faulty or have been subject to poor quality additions.

FULL HOUSE REWIRES

There are many reasons why you might need to invest in a full house rewire: you might have just moved into an old or period property that has not had its wiring updated, and, as such, it cannot cope with the demands of modern living, for example; or, you may be planning a major home renovation project, extension or conversion, and need to make sure all the wiring within the property is up to standard.
